The Service

Ember creates personalized romance novels and related previews based on the information you provide. By using Ember, purchasing a story, submitting a gift, or sending us optional review material, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

Ember is intended only for adults aged 18 and older. By using the service, you confirm that you are at least 18 and that you can lawfully enter into these terms.

Your Inputs

You are responsible for the information you submit to Ember. That includes interview answers, gift messages, review submissions, and any names or story details you choose to include. Do not submit unlawful material or information you do not have the right to share.

Orders, Payment, and Delivery

Orders are processed through Stripe. For paid self-purchase orders, the interview is part of the product. After payment and completion of the required interview, Ember generates and delivers your story digitally, currently promised within 10 days. Timing may vary if a book needs review, rewrite, or operational recovery.

Personalized Nature of the Product

Ember is a custom digital product made from your inputs. Because the work is personalized, generated, and operationally processed after purchase, cancellations are limited once generation has begun, except where required by law or where Ember expressly offers a rewrite or refund path.

AI-Generated and Adult Content

Ember stories are produced using AI-assisted systems and other creative tooling. The output is intended to reflect your selected tone, heat level, darkness level, and boundaries, but AI-generated content can still contain mistakes, awkward phrasing, or judgment errors. Some books may include mature, explicit, or darker themes depending on what you request.

Rewrites and Refunds

If your story misses, tell us what missed and we will work with you on a rewrite path. Ember currently offers to rewrite it within a week where reasonably possible. Refund requests beyond that are handled case-by-case.

Reviews, Quotes, and Video Reactions

If you send Ember a review, quote, or testimonial, whether through our review page or by replying to one of our emails, you keep ownership of what you wrote and you give Ember permission to publish or quote from it in our own marketing. When we do, we identify you by first name only. We never publish your full name, your email address, your interview answers, or anything from the story we wrote for you.

Reaction videos, social handles, and any use of your full name are different. We only ever publish those with your explicit permission. If you would rather we did not quote you at all, email hello@embernovels.com and we will take your words down wherever we have used them.

Personal License

You receive a personal, non-exclusive license to read, keep, and privately share your purchased story. Ember retains all rights in the service, prompts, software, packaging systems, and underlying generation workflow.

Changes

Ember may update the service, pricing, creative systems, and these terms over time. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
